September 21st of every year was announced the International Day of Peace or Ceasefire Day To promote sustainable peace in the community of the displaced persons, COERR organized the International Day of Peace events in various temporary shelters.

   COERR Mae Hong Son organized the Event on September 21, 2021 in Ban Mai Nai Soi Temporary Shelter with Peace Building Quiz Activity, in which 72 people participated. In Ban Mae Surin temporary shelter, there was Dee Ku Karenni Traditional Food Activity, in which 120 people participated.

   COERR Mae Sarieng organized the event on the same day in Ban Mae Lama Luang, in which 100 persons participated. The activities included children and youth singing contest to let young people showed their talent in singing especially in the occasion of International Peace Day.

   COERR Mae Sot organized the International Day of Peace 2021 event in Ban Nupo Temporary Shelter in Tak Province, on September 28, 2021. Among the highlights were Drawing and Painting Contest on the topic of "Peace Activities" to empower children, youth and all in the community in their peace building force. There were 345 participants consisting of 170 females and 175 males.

   COERR Kanchanaburi also organized the event on September 21, 2021 in Ban Don Yang Temporary Shelter, Sangkhlaburi District of Kanchanaburi Province in which 150 people participated and in Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter, Suan Phueng District of Ratchaburi Province in which 200 people participated. Highlights were drawing and painting; poem and composition contests concerning “My Peace of Mind”. The aim was to encourage and remind children and youth to become aware of peace building, giving, sharing and caring which would lead to happiness and unity in family and community.
